I've enjoyed this series immensely. I wanted a holiday read that had more action than normal and this was perfect!
I'm so happy the author decided to write this book. I've enjoyed the E.D.G.E series so far; the action is gripping and the females are tough - a welcome change! However, I would like to have more pull-at-your-heartstrings moments. I was left wanting more after the first book so it was very nice to have this follow-on to the story of Dani and Jake while not losing the action adventure.
Jake takes Dani to visit his family at Christmas time. While Dani is shopping with Jake's sister and niece a killer known as the Huntsman contacts Dani and forces her to play his game. If she does not play, lives are on the line; therefore, the "hunt" begins. Read what happens as Dani is forced to run for her life in Central Park.
A great continuation of Dani and Jake's story full of excitement and suspense as Dani runs from a psychopathic killer. Don't miss this one as Dani and Jake work out the future of their relationship.
Love the happy ending to Dani and Jake. It’s an awesome story and worth reading the books. On to the next one.
What was supposed to be Jake introducing Dani to his family on a Christmas visit turns out to be a dangerous time. Dani must come to terms with her true feelings not only with Jake but family as well. It's a short story filled with action and high emotions. You won't be able to put it down.
What a refreshingly intriguing Christmas story. Every family with members in law enforcement worry about the danger their love ones face everyday in their line of work even when the bad guys are behind bars. This story shows some of the danger and worry. This author did a fabulous job writing this story. I have to now to buy the rest of the books in this series.
